Good. Americans need more disdain and shunning when we go abroad. The world is entirely too nice to Americans. I'm American btw.

In my experience there's usually an outwardly friendly passive agressive insult masked as laconic humour.

"Oh, you're wearing cargo shorts, socks and sandles, and a cheap plastic hei-tiki. That's a bit of an adventurous look, isnt it."
