This absolutely happens on r/portland. Pretty sure they do it collaboratively, and I personally think cops participate in it too.
Is that what brigading is? And if so shouldnt we be trying that too? I mean there's enough of us and heaven knows we are all talking shit to chuds & libs on our own time, could be cool to do it all together maybe!
That is technically what brigading is, but R*dditors tend to complain about brigading whenever a consensus is formed that their opinion sucks. We can do this too. We do do this too sometimes when people share threads in the_dunk_tank to gently steer our way.
We usually look for threads already being brigaded or ones that are leaning our way and we throw some weight behind the comrades fighting the good fight.
