Absolutely garbage takes from "Tankies ruin everything and don't understand Marx" liberals, "I'm a leftist and anti-fascist, but....", and "I'm an ML and we have nothing to do with these anarchists" alike

most subreddits are centered on an interest like hobbies, sports, or entertainment

city subreddits are centered on an interest in property values

I mean compared to my Country's Subreddit the City's is downright revolutionary. Talking about /r/Camada vs /r/Toronto. Like I know they have one ultra-right wing mod. It got so bad that the Canadian government. which previously used to occasionally post their stopped doing it all together (probably once it was brought to their attention)

/r/Toronto it depends on the topic. Usually the shit takes about how the cyclist deserved it or how slumlord arsonist developers are good, actually, get down voted by the end of the day. /r/Canada is literally run by white supremacists by comparison

r/houston figured out that those cops murdered that couple months before the new media and FBI did

the portland sub is 60% landlords who just care about property value, 15% non-portlanders who live in the outskirts of the city (vancouver) or in the state, and like 25% of a mix of ppl from portland, but the losers who post on reddit. I wouldn't take it too seriously as a mark of where the city is at, check tweets from portland for a more free-range portlander flavor. They're still libs but at least antifa supporting libs.

This absolutely happens on r/portland. Pretty sure they do it collaboratively, and I personally think cops participate in it too.

Is that what brigading is? And if so shouldnt we be trying that too? I mean there's enough of us and heaven knows we are all talking shit to chuds & libs on our own time, could be cool to do it all together maybe!

That is technically what brigading is, but R*dditors tend to complain about brigading whenever a consensus is formed that their opinion sucks. We can do this too. We do do this too sometimes when people share threads in the_dunk_tank to gently steer our way.

We usually look for threads already being brigaded or ones that are leaning our way and we throw some weight behind the comrades fighting the good fight.

Weird that the mod teams for the new subs were infiltrated by chuds. You'd think you only need 1 new sub and keep the mod team in line.

Yes. I live in a very Bernie county, but the most upvoted content in the sub is by Nextdoor NIMBYs.

the portland subreddit was like 75% of the reason i stopped posting on reddit altogether, the other 25% was when they bulldozed our sub

You're also talking about the city with the most sustained and radical protests so maybe this one post from a city sub isn't representative of every single person there

No, that's the garbage take on the anarchists by the local libs.

At least they're talking about something and not just posting shitty skyline and skyscraper photos like /r/atlanta. Fucking worthless subreddit.

So at the height of the protects that sub had a portland only rule and it was much more reasonable.

They dropped that and now it's just another reactionary shithole.
