I mean, I know I'll sound like a lib but I think the tweet is right as far as the fact that women are expected to look nice to be taken seriously while men are allowed to have a more "down to earth" look without as much criticism

i mean, bernie simultaneously got dragged for that coat being expensive and for looking slovenly in it.
are there double standards in fashion and professional appearance standards in some places? yeah obviously.
