Public office is just a scheme for a lot of these freaks to get a book deal or some cushy job afterwards. We all know this. I am proposing that we either make political memoirs illegal, or if you want to write one, you cannot make money off of it and you have to write a novel first. And I mean actually write. Not like with the help of James Paterson. Imagine Cory Booker's or Louie Gohmert's novels. This is a first 100 days issue.

Politicians (at least state-level and above) should be restricted to Social Security and Medicare once they're out of office. If they earn any money from work, it must be the minimum wage.

That shit would get fixed real quick, would constantly be adjusted upwards, and it'd cut out a lot of failsons who view the revolving door as a career opportunity.
