Bruh lmfao do these people even read what they wrote?
“China has the world’s largest population and they overwhelmingly support their one party... it’s almost like that one party is working for them and that’s why... I think the secret to China’s tyranny is that they were poor and had the world’s largest population in poverty. China then lifted these people out of poverty and believe it or not, the people liked that! I wonder if people who lived in the Soviet Union were also happy to be lifted out of poverty? Anyway this is a success story of tyranny and not socialism.”
It may come as an absolute shock that this is from a post about Tiananmen Square but here’s a link to the comment lol have fun
It's almost like some amount of tyranny is necessary to implement socialism.
Call that a dictatorship of the proletariat

This is why that word is used. Every state is authoritarian. It's just a word that gives Neolibs the ammunition they need to combat their cognitive dissonance when they accuse anti "free-market" states of being authoritarian.
MLs be like: “I used the state to destroy the state”
Thanos reads Lenin confirmed.

No. It's basic Marxist thought that the state is the means by which one class oppresses the other. Slaveowners had to have a state to oppress slaves (and by extension stay the slaveowners), feudal lords had to have a state to oppress serfs. Under capitalism the state is the mechanism by which the bourgeoisie oppress the proletariat through upholding the institution of private ownership. You live under "the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie". It's only logical and completely moral to want to institute a "dictatorship of the proletariat" if you want liberate your class. Nothing anarchist about it.
Read Lenin people.

You could perhaps even say that revolutions are themselves authoritarian by nature...
This was half a joke but the words “tyranny” and “authoritarian” turn out to be trickier to apply than it seems.
But in a way yes, the vanguard guides the less aware through revolution until class consciousness is pervasive as a societal norm. Basically it’s breeding out the chuds so is that authoritarian? Some people would say yes I’m sure but it’s also inherently liberating.
Definitely read Lenin though he is great
You should yes
