In hell world we must learn when to take the Ws when we can because they are rare. As others here have said, sometimes shitty people do good things, and it's okay to critique them in good faith while also allowing yourself to be happy for positive things. I've been overly cynical most of my life and it's exhausting tbh. I probably always will be, but something I've been working on is just not having to criticize every single thing when it's completely unnecessary, it doesn't help me at all.
