you will need to convince me very hard to invest in something named after a meme. like whats next? "ohhhh you guys GOTTA invest in ChungusCoin, its going for pennies on the dollar and was invented by a man who watches Jreg"

No it's just pure stupid, there is literally nothing more to it. It's literally just memes.

Nah, Tether tries to be a bridge of some sort between crypto and USD. It's a crypto but its value is pegged at the dollar.

Doge on the other hand is just another altcoin. It tries to be bitcoin but the only thing it's good for is buying actual bitcoin. Basically it's a gamble of if its value relative to bitcoin will go up.

Someone on Twitter was monitoring it and they were just printing/deleting hundreds of thousands of coins

Yeah it's honestly been pretty obvious from the beginning that Tether is mostly hot air. I'm actually shocked that things haven't collapsed years later, but they're managing to keep the grift going somehow.

For those of us with no experience dealing with cryotocurrency, how would we even go about doing this? A penny to a dollar in a month is enough of a jump that I'd look into it if i knew how, since i have a temp job rn and wanna find a way to not go back to being broke as shit immediately when it ends like i normally would
