Has it gotten even worse over the last few years? Because I remember them being fairly milquetoast bullshit by reputation, but they seem to have been downright awful for the last little bit.
They're S Tier now, ie shit tier. They had some guy on All Things Considered explaining away the GME RobinHood bullshit, and you could feel the market induced sweats dripping off him as he kept trying to skirt around the issue by saying that retail investors just wanted to get back at people "they believe" to be "rich jerks". The whole tone was some hand wringing bullshit that completely sidestepped the issue of hedge funds gambling
they have been swinging to the right over the past 20 years but they dived deep into "bothsidesism" during the last Obama administration and then really started to veer right during the last Democratic primary season and that's when I decided it wasn't worth the aggravation anymore.
