I don't think a lot of people are going to come out of this making that amount of money. The only people that will win from this are Wall Street firms and the finance/tech bros on Reddit who had money to invest very early on like DFV, who invested like 150k from the start. People who get a few hundred or thousand in profit and become capitalist bootlickers probably had no plans to become socialist anyway. Does that mean I think r/WSB is a good place? No. I think that place sucks and most of those folks who aren't astroturfing or making shit up will probably be caught holding the bag. A lot of people are going to get burnt by this bubble. Remember that kid who committed suicide because he got himself into a deep hole in Robinhood? There's going to be a few of those at the end of this road unfortunately. This is why those services need to be shut down or have margin trading severely limited.
