You cannot convince me this is not a child. This is baby's first reddit atheist moment (and I say this as a reddit atheist).

The Reddit-brained preoccupation with "adults" magically showing up to solve problems and the problem makers being seen as "infants" does speak of immaturity, but that immaturity can sometimes last a lifetime, especially with the "my old man kicked my ass and I turned out FINE" grillman crowd.

The most Reddit comment to ever exist. Only missing a porn reference and the word "bacon" in there.

this made me stop being an atheist.

there is a hell and we are in it right now

I started reconsidering atheism and seriously considering Catharism when I came to this realization.

no one makes me rethink my atheism as fast as a reddit atheist. I've resolved to never read anything they've written in order to keep the philosophical underpinnings of the way I think on firm ground.

Weaponized "both sides" brainworms wishing psychological torment, suffering, and death on "both sides" to be like a bloodsoaked god of smugness among men. hypersus

"why not just deploy some dual faithed Messiah figurehead"

He's actually asking for CIA Jesus?

"Why don't we just trick all the simple minded brown people with a shiny new religion?"

Gee I wonder why Americans have a global reputation as being somehow both condescending and self righteous and simultaneously dumber than dogshit.

Except in dune it was a hundred years long project done by a powerful cabal with magical powers.

And the messiah had literally all the best magical powers.

It certainly sharpened the edge on their pizza cutter of a pointless take. I'm a Dune enjoyer and it fucking sucks when people derive bad ideas from it.

Yeah obviously in dune it’s shown as bad because it basically kicked off the biggest genocide of all time

Some galaxy brains just nod along to the "Golden Path" and see the entire galaxy wide atrocity campaign as justified because of what was scribbled in later to justify it after Frank Herbert died. Terminal stage "means to an end" thinking.

smuglord Have they considered just not believing in a freaking sky wizard, since that's all this conflict is really about?

I took a look at their profile, and found casual ableism and misanthropy, the reddit-logo runs deep.
