You can replace gun control in that sentence with a free space on a bingo card and it's still accurate.
I mean, Democrats very clearly COULD enact shit if they wanted to, they just almost never do. This law really screws over poor people and minorities so I could see this getting unanimous approval amongst Democrats and getting passed in 15 minutes
And immediately gets incinerated by the reactionaries filling every judicial seat
