Of course lol, we aren't made of money. After 7 or 8 years of being a daily driver though, the problems usually start getting more expensive/harder to fix.
The problem is parts that are engineered to fail and they intentionally under produce the component 10 years out so it's hard to get a hold of. Having an ad that's like "hey, this Lada from the 70s still runs with minimal maintenance" would undermine their whole engineered scarcity market.
My family has two cars (booooo), one is 22 years old, the other is about 15. The 22 years old one is showing its age now which kinda costs. The other one does have some problems every now and then but it's not that bad.

My car turnover rate is kinda high but thats cause im hood at trading up va craigslist and such
They don't have to actually last that long, you just need to make people believe they do.
