For the past few weeks, it had been one drama after another. Some more heartbreaking, like the presence of terfs, and others more irritating, like the Dore/AOC/BJG/Seder stuff, or the vegan shit, or the gamestop saga. or... you get the point.
It felt like we were blazing towards an explosive end filled with bitter and hurt users and mods that would result in a ghost town with barely a dozen posters by the end.
But now? Now it feels like we're back. Doing what we do best. Bullying Libs (and Cons, Terfs etc). I know we always dunk on others here, but to see them actually respond is where the true joy lies. The Giggle/Grover drama really feels like we're back in the subreddit days, actually causing terrible people to lose their shit, rather than just being stuck here on an island shouting at each other.

I gotta admit, I was getting pretty turned off by the constant struggle sessions and infighting. But the past few days dunking on that TERF app founder reminded me why I love you folks. Let's keep this energy moving.

agreed. i get really fucking depressed seeing a lot of infighting, whether here or anywhere else there is leftists. critiques and good faith discussion is both important and good, but belittling others over their correct or incorrect opinions or assumptions isn't productive within leftism. We got enough on our plates already.
