Wait...so...the local police...WENT INTO THE CHINESE CONSULATE and, upon seeing the guy fighting with their security, notably Unshot!, PROCEEDED TO SHOOT HIM!
It's not an embassy, so they are in theory allowed inside. But why provoke a diplomatic incident by, again, shooting a man dead in the Chinese Consulate!
Also if the Chinese Government security guys can deal with a dude with a crossbow without killing him surely the US police can.
