As the letter, and other news pieces on this story indicate - most of the undersigned have known Buttar and the accusor for over a decade.
And it shouldn't need to be said because somebodies reputation is worth something no matter their status.. but these are not just "randos", most of these folks are very high ranking individuals who would not just throw their reputation away to jump in front of Buttar for nothing.
I am not going to list out all of the "credentials" of each of these defenders... but this should give you an idea of who these people are.
Polly Miller - Former staffer w/ CODEPINK, founding member of Rochester Against War. Met Buttar from anti police brutality direct actions from several years ago.
Martine Zundmanis - Just a longtime activist who has known Buttar since at least 2004.
Kevin Zeese - Co-Director of Popular Resistance, and about half a dozen other leftist initiatives from issues ranging from healthcare, ecosocialism, and anti-imperialism.
Margaret Flowers - Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) co-chair, National board member of "Healthcare Now"; She's also with Popular Resistance with Zeese. Arrested with other doctors in the Senate a few years back for disrupting a senate hearing and demanding congress take up single payer.
