maybe MAYBE after a long post dissecting how and why each of their relationships since the age of thirteen has failed, and why they will die alone and unloved citing sources and quotes from their exes, indiscrete therapists, former friends, etc; THEN you can tell/ask them, privately, maybe it's "just not worth it anymore" and "is living really worth the pain?" and actually make the world a better place.
