      One of the major criticisms of sulfur seeding is that it will reduce agricultural productivity somewhere, and like, the best bang for your buck is in the global south...

      Let’s not pretend that geoengineering is going to be done with the global south in mind.

      You're probably right, but geoengineering is like nuclear power or firearms - useful and ultimately necessary, but not something I trust in the hands of private interests.

      My problem isn't with geoengineering, it's that they're using geoengineering as a bandaid while not stopping any of the destruction

      The propaganda has already gotten to you I see. These kinds of proposals are nothing more than new avenues for profitting of a self inflicted crisis. It's an excuse to do nothing about the problem and it only exists to keep capitalism going. First capitalism needs to end, then we'll talk about geo engineering.
