    even if I was a ruthless capitalist that didn’t care about the deaths of millions, id still be cutting checks to the poors, just to keep them happy/content.

    Capitalists may work together for their class interests, but they're decentralized enough that no one wants to individually foot the bill.

    They will recognize the threat when there is a threat. Did the BLM protests threaten the position of capital?...no, just a few storefronts and small amount of weapons sales to police. Until their profits, safety, or position in society are threatened, they won't try to placate us.
