        been going through West Wing Thing for the first time, back in like S3 (2020-ish) Dave did come to Jimmy's defense but I'm caught up to like S6 now and he's definitely cooled on the guy. that being said I don't keep up on his social media or anything so what do I know

            can't say, not on WWT through S6 at least. I hear you on that, I think knowing Dore personally affected his judgment which is why I'm thinking about his response to Sirota. Dave Anthony has made full-throated defenses of Palestinians before and very harsh statements about Israeli oppression so if he lets this slide it won't be a fun parasocial moment

          Maybe he's changed, I quit listening to him after he got real pissy about actual leftists calling out Jimmy Dore around the era of the "force the vote" clownshow. Got real mad and yelly on his podcast saying Dore just really cares about healthcare and leftist ideals, they're super good friends and he knows he's a genuine lefty. If he's changed, I doubt he's acknowledged that little tantrum and how stupid it and he was.
