    What would the goal of this strategy be? Anti communism? Activating the petty bourgeois and lumpen proles as a reactionary political force that acts with cover and indifference or objectively even guidance from the state. Not good

      that's where i've been stuck for about the last month. ever since i tuned into the livestreams of the raid itself i've refused to take it at face value. clearly this was allowed to happen. and now there's court documents of text messages saying to "gas them" after they were told the congresspeople were "all in the tunnels". holy fuckballs. don't get me wrong, there's a lot of loathsome creatures working in the national security apparatus, but even i don't think they would seriously let a bunch of chuds gas the entire fucking u.s. congress.

      but who knows. they did accidentally assassinate Kennedy that one time. maybe we were actually a few minutes away that Camp Auschwitz t-shirt guy living out his fantasies.

        Right. I tend to think, in general, that this kind of right wing activation is used as a cudgel against left wing movements, but in this case it could be a gut check for our institutions to root out some of the more extreme right wing actors (blood letting if you like). All this most likely a temporary smoke screen for patriot act 2, which will be used against the left eventually.
