If only the left had someone who had an opportunity to do something like this.... oh well, that ship has sailed and it’s probably a good thing considering he has shown his true colors...

I'd love it if this happened, just to disrupt the shitty two party system. Too bad Trump is almost certainly too stupid and lazy to pull it off.

I think at this point the CIA would be comfortable with de facto one party rule by the Dems.

I wonder if they will just say fuck it and formalize swapping power like they tried in Colombia.

Then more people can join the Free Americans Resisting Congress.

Pair that with sparing everyone the media circus that are political campaigns and elections, and I think many Americans would see that as a bargain.

Want to be clear that I'm not in favor of that, I just think the system is so rotten that many people would see that as appealing.

Yeah I could see that being one path the slow degradation takes.

ehhh i think it's more likely they would find the weaker links in the party to foil it in all seriousness.

Trump becoming the second president to be assassinated by the CIA would be the funniest fucking event of the 21st century and you cant convince me otherwise

If that happens, the Democrats will take over the dying Republican Party for the sake of unity and libs everywhere orgasm.

Honestly, if this actually even happened by 2022, I could see about 20 to 30 people get elected to Congress under this party (most of them would be incumbents).

It would mostly either run in diehard Democrat or Republican areas.

If some Bannon-like figure had the motivation to lead him through it I could see it happening. They'd have to be intentionally trying to split the GOP though.

Democrats would swing even harder to the right in an attempt to scoop up moderate Republicans. We would absolutely need to have a leftist party emerge as well to prevent them from fucking everything up permanently.

Then Dems would take on the current Republican platform for a "return to normal" with tea party people being the new Romneys

If only the left had someone who had an opportunity to do something like this

Rank-and-file Republicans are much more comfortable with Trump than Democrats are with Bernie.
