Video games pretty much never translate well to other mediums, but I'm cautiously optimistic with TLoU series. At least it's something with a coherent plot and some depth. And not trying to jerryrig a plot around a assortment of random characters from an arcade fighting game.

I think they've been trying to adapt uncharted to the big screen, but it's been mired in development hell.
