I wrote an appeal to unionize as well

Hey, to whoever reads this, who holds the power at your work? Do you have any say in how your workplace is run, how much you get paid, health and safety conditions etc? The answer is no, because alone as a worker you are replaceable, with no bargaining power. You mean nothing to your superiors. If you want to have a say in any of these issues- if you want to stand and bargain rather than grovel and beg, the first step is organizing a union of your coworkers. With your collective strength, you can actually negotiate. And it's sure true the American labor movement is far from perfect. It still has corruption and weakness to be overcome, but there is a reason unionized workers get paid far more, and receive better benefits on average than non unionized ones. Just something to think about.
