Why would you celebrate an aristocrat who burned an entire city to the ground, bombed Palestinians fighting British imperialism, and dreamed of being governor of Rhodesia?

The Soviets were able to win the war without wiping entire cities off the map just for the hell of it.

From our windows we watched Dresden burning only a short distance away. For us it was an exhilarating sight. The whole horizon was aflame, and our dormitory was lit as if by daylight, except the light was red. We knew that the Allies had bombed Dresden. We stood at the windows all night, delighting in the spectacle. To us it was proof that the end of the war and liberation could not be far off. - concentration camp survivor Eva Benda

Ofc war is a fuck, but still: Starting a genocidal war doesn't give (chud) Germans the right to cry about getting owned, which is all our local fash are doing with regards to bombed-out German cities.
