Ignore all the suffering in the world and just abuse my white privilege to have a trophy wife who secretly hates me and a middle management job at Amaz*n or some corporate firm where I "put the papers on Johnson's desk by Friday" and flirt with my secretary all day long.
Like just imagine how blissfully happy you'd be if you could ignore the inherent evil that exists in all facets of modern life and the only time you feel motivated to do anything is to "vote blue no matter who" once every 4 years just so you can pretend that you've made a difference.
The fun thing about being lib is that once there is a crisis e.g. you don't get promoted your world view is in trouble. The system only works as long as you are shielded from the real.
When the real becomes a source of problems, then you have to deal with it. Some tools used for it are othering and denigrating others, so racism, classism and such. Then there is the important ingredient in case you do find something, that it is a meritocracy and your achievement are yours! Even though 6 equally vice presidents applied for the job and anyone could've gotten it. Naturally this means people who are in trouble are at fault as individuals, and not the system.
However you do know how to make it better (since you got a job and no troubles of paying down a mortgage), so you tell them: Educate yourself! You just don't know enough and aren't qualified enough!
Of course you also can think that either of the two US parties is at fault, or that the German social democratic party will fight for poor person's benefits, but this is not true, as they engineer neoliberalism - but hey at least you are not personally responsible for what they do. You are only responsible for your success and if someone else has trouble it is their trouble.
Naturally this will not quite make you happy.
