    Republicans are obstinate, not cowardly.

They’re not afraid of the repercussions of voting to impeach Trump, they just don’t want to give up an inch of political power.

What do they have to be afraid of? It must be so scary knowing the courageous Dems might call for a hearing and you’ll face 0 consequences.

"Looking back, it’s embarrassing to recognize the degree to which my intellectual curiosity those first two years of college paralleled the interests of various women I was attempting to get to know: Marx and Marcuse so I had something to say to the long-legged socialist who lived in my dorm; Fanon and Gwendolyn Brooks for the smooth-skinned sociology major who never gave me a second look; Foucault and Woolf for the: ethereal bisexual who wore mostly black. As a strategy for picking up girls, my pseudo-intellectualism proved mostly worthless; I found myself in a series of affectionate but chaste friendships."

They did the same shit in 2009. Literal Dem supporters are full of hubris right now.

I remember being told during the Obama years that the Republican party was going to wander in the wilderness for a generation

Yeah who the fuck are these people kidding. They have a narrow majority in the senate and still can’t get anything substantial like a $15 minimum wage passed.

r/politicalhumor has the worst popularity to quality ratio I've ever encountered. like, their frequently on the front page of reddit, but with posts like this or something like "well actually it was you who was foolish for supporting a President who would go on to incite a failed insurrection."

absolutely no sense of humor or grand view of what politics actually is.

If you read the comments on there, it’s a lot of people who moved over from Facebook or are encouraging people to stop using their Facebook. I think that should give you a hint at the demographics.

The only difference between the democratic and republican bases are that the democrats sit when theyre told to sit like the dogs they are, and that makes them think they arnt dogs just like the republicans.
