    you have to remember that the Spanish state wasnt overthrow, it was instead reform into a monarchy with the king deciding that there could be some democracy, and with the Spanish 1977 Amnesty Law they absolve all fascists from the franco regime. its because of that they have a anti-flag burning law

    There was a huge leftist upswing in podemos that is all but over now. Spain is in the midst of a backlash against the left's failure to manage the 2008 crisis much as it is across Europe and the world tbh.
