the bubml is very tired, she is eepy. the bumble has had a very long day of splashing in pollen and wants to take just a smol sleeb. she eeby and neebies to sleeby. Bmble sleepy and need bed-bye time. the bumble is currently experiencing critical levels of being a sleevjy lil gal and needs to go to bedb. she is ver tired and needs to slep. just a little sleejing time as a treat. bumbtylr neebs to slek, ver twired goirl, just a lil gal. blebubrlmbr needs her beaty sleeb. look at her go! she yawn big cause she skeejy, neebs to falafel asleep. nini time! good night, missus the bumble.
If you look closely there are three dots there, and they are extra eyes
They also have better vision than you'd think because their photoreceptor cells can go rapidly in and out of focus in tandem with their head movements to cobble together a much finer picture of the world than you'd think the equipment they have on hand would give them. They're such amazing little critters.
As someone else mentioned they're simple eyes that can only discern light and dark, called ocelli. In flying insects they seem to be largely used for navigation, using the sun overhead as a marker to find their direction.
