shit's crazy y'all i'm lucky as fuck because I live right across from a fire station and near a hospital so power hasn't been cut for us but our pipes are frozen

but i've been using this time to message friends and make sure if they're okay first and then if they are and have time to chat use this crisis to introduce them to Marxism and it's going really well. tons of people are becoming really highly receptive to Marxist thought and critiques of capitalism which are pretty much on full display right now. it's crucial for the movement to politicize crises which are very much political and because of capitalism. if we want to have hope for stopping these crises in the future we have to grow the movement with each one and build towards mass action which can radically change society
