    This is an ignorant thread.

Been maoists and Marxists openly in organising in a number of Indian states for a very many decades - Kerala is the primary example. It doesn't mean shit - India as a whole is in the grasp of consolidated fascist positions. Hindu nationalism has been extant for over a century now and its only become more malignant as time has gone on.

Started in response to British colonial rule, a few decades a few armed struggles, a partition and a contested region later and...you had Modi, a Hindu nationalist fascist POS seen as the safe pair of hands for continued neoliberalisation of the country's economy.

It's not going away because you're seeing some hammer and sickle iconography online.

Pretty misleading tbh. You act as if the fascist party has been entrenched in power for decades. Please go read about early Congress party, some of it’s more ambitious policies, and indo-soviet relations. This farmers’ protest is huge and Modi’s government is hemorrhaging popular support.

India is literally the global soutb, you’re seriously telling me a worker’s revolution is not possible in one of the poorest countries on the planet?

Yeah, the electoral decline of the left in India in recent years has been disheartening and has followed a trend that you can see in Europe, but the situation is far from hopeless. There are minor Communist and leftist parties in India that have membership numbers and a level of organization that would make any American or UK leftist jealous.

I am saying not to rely on a workers revolution because that’s some wishful simp shit.

That is literally the point of socialism, ain't nobody gonna save the workers except themselves

Westerners know as much about India and China as they do about their own countries (nothing).

I'd welcome your input on what is incorrect about my statements.

There have been numerous BJP backed riots and murders of Muslim people literally incited by the state, supported by the fascists on the streets. What about that screams successful fertile ground for the next vanguard of revolutionary struggle against the oppressive state?
