Those are the most aggressively butt rock bands. Like, dont get your influences come from the guy at the gas station.

Imagine bragging about liking Linkin Park. Even when I was a numetal obsessed middle schooler, I knew that they sucked.

Ayy this is Hybrid Theory erasure. But yeah everything after the first two albums sucked except for the niche song here and there.

I fucked with hybrid theory as hard as any other 12 y/o at the time, but i was over it by the time Meteora came out

I mainly dislike the singer, there’s something about the nasally strained quality of his voice that makes it sound like he’s trying to push out a massive shit.

As someone who worked at a gas station, I resent that, but also my co-worker was a numetalhead so you're not wrong

I’ve been seeing this since 2006 and none of the bands/artists have changed 🤔

Actually a few of the pop singers are a little newer, this variant seems to be from about 2010

Anyone else remember when FULLCOMMUNISM banned prog rock and it caused a split?

Remember when punk vs prog was a weird intra left culture war with think peices and everything?

I actually don't, this sounds amazing.

I would very much assume punk versus prog roughly maps on to anarchist versus Leninist, but then I know someone is going to step in like "I spend 90% of my time at a soup kitchen reading Kropotkin but have you seen this ηαβ∂2ψ∂xα∂xβ+μ2ψ=0 / | φ 〉 = | I 〉 CI + | II 〉 CII time signature?!?!" and also "we made a fucking 10 song opus about the October Revolution, it's 16 minutes long"

I keep seeing Five Finger Death Punch songs recommended to me on youtube and it's always the same thumbnail of some goober looking chud looking all sad, so you know he's gonna whine about soldiers and our military and shit.

The comments are especially bad with music videos, they're treated like Facebook/R*ddit with lazy recycled jokes and chain posts. I listened to Lush Rimbaugh the other day and the comments there were great, same with most Rise Against or RATM vids.

The first and last bands on that list are explicitly Christian Rock, therefore pro-war, and don't belong on this list with the band that released American Idiot. I need to relisten to see if that album is anti-war or just anti-Bush, though.
