Deer, at least. Need a lot more doe tags though bc CWD and overpopulation. Also deer meat being donated to food banks is a thing, I know people who do, that's good. Also good bc it doesn't support factory farming.

Hunting's not super fucked up if it's an ungulate with a healthy population and if you eat the whole animal or make sure someone who needs it more than you eats it
bonus points for if you're indigenous and/or are food insecure or at risk of it. All other hunting is gross
