    I don't like how mass culture believes that all gay men are effeminate and there is no variation, and how buttigege thinks that focus grouping his relationship is going to help him become the first out president

        It was more about his his husband's reaction to getting a follow on Twitter. Yes it's very cool to get followed by someone famous, but it just seems that the only "mainstream" gay that people are willing to accept and actively promote is the non threatening, effeminate version. No bears, no masculine gay roles are permitted because that's too radical.

        Pete is Callahan from Transmetropolitan, so I don't even try to understand him.
