There are plenty of fucked up age-gap relationships, and I don't doubt there is a real phenomena of older men preying on younger adult partners. But the problems in these relationships arise from differences in status, power, wealth and stability, etc, not from the age gap itself.
I clarified that emotionally women and men are equally vulnerable to manipulation. The difference I said is that a violent older man can probably physically intimidate and control a young woman a lot easier than a young man.
I think all those things you said are obviously true, but also think in terms of experience and maturity. An old narcissist knows every trick in the book whilst a young one is probably still figuring it out.
