I don't want to police the language you use to understand yourself, but I find "breed" to be a somewhat dehumanizing word when in reference to people. Just something worth considering ya know? Do we want to use the same language as race realists and accidentally import their connotations?
I've been listening to too much Citations Needed, though, and become hyper aware of how hegemonic concepts give us the brain worms, so I'm probably over-thinking it.

I agree, and I would add that once you get into defining what 'white' and 'latinx' are supposed to be in race theory, the whole thing crumbles
