/lit/ can be pretty lefty between the openly fascist baiters from /pol/. Only place I see Kollontai consistently name dropped so that's neat as a big fan of her writing
Do you have any recommendations for her books or pamphlets? I've been reading a lot of social feminist stuff recently and have been interested in learning more about her thought and life, but don't know where to start.
I’d highly recommend the AK47 podcast if you want a solid overview of her work without having to read it all. It’s hosted by a college professor and goes over 47 readings of her work with discussion. I’d personally recommend Make Way for Winged Eros. One of my favorite texts as an example of material dialectics being applied outside of the solely material realm to discuss the evolution of one piece of the superstructure (love and sex) as it relates to evolving material factors
Still can't seem let go of 4chan entirely. It's such a radically different experience than basically anywhere else on the net, with all the good and bad that comes with it.
Also births all the good memes, so fucking surreal seeing people say "based" and posting wojaks everywhere now
Same reason you use a train with shitty people. You enjoy the ride.
/lit/ can be alright. I'd say about a half the people on it are fascists, but there's a good few leftists too, plus everyone hates Ayn Rand.
people on one forum aren't all the same. for instance, you are a massive lib, but I am not. /lit/ is basically the only decent literature subreddit on the web, minus /pol/ nazis, because the ones on reddit are full of genre-fiction reading sanderson lovers
Bla bla bla linen, bla bla bla my friend engels, bla bla fruits of your labor... Okay, now that the conservatives are gone, lets talk about women in video games.
