Tbf, it's the same season that also gave us the best comic relief character, Juan Posadas.
I'll go out on a limb and answer seriously:
I'd say when the German revolution failed. RIP Rosa :rosa:
Alternate history is pretty lame but I can't stress enough how much I want to go back to 1917 and give Rosa a Gundam. Imagine where we would be today.
I think that it was when insert divise comment about anarchists or tankies here personally.
Yeah it was probably last week on Twitter when Da_Praxis_Garfield called CorncobbedGritty420 "red fash" and he responded with a photoshopped picture of Makhno with a swastika armband. That was the day the left truly died.....
When they started giving Gorbachev more attention and made him the main character.
I mean, communism kinda stalled out when there was no longer a chance of Germany to go communist.
but to stay closer to the idea of 'jumping the shark'... idk, the situationists?
Good philosophies and such, but it seems like that was the last gasp of some international movement of communists, and they were trying to go in different paths than the flavours of Marxism which preceded them, kind of like how people use the term 'jumping the shark' to mean a failed departure from regularly scheduled programming.
