The US constitution must be destroyed for real political change to occur in the US. A party system created before the creation of the urban working class (which is exactly what happened in the US) will only create institutions that can oppose working class projects

      Agreed.

One thing that I think about a lot is how political disagreements in the US just don't work the same way that they did in the 1780s. At that time, political disagreements were primarily about geography and the distinctions between the different states, and the constitution was designed with that in mind. Now, political disagreements are about some combination of the following:

      • class conflict
      • demographics
      • culture wars
      • partisanship
      • ideology

with distinctions between states being more or less irrelevant. But we're still stuck with a constitution that was designed to resolve geographic-based conflicts but isn't very good at resolving partisan/class/cultural conflicts.

probably the the 2 party system, since democrats and republicans are the 2 sides of the business party

It's not like the Republicans are going to become good if you get rid of the Democrats. The system needs to be dismantled. Getting rid of it via changes to electoral policy would allow social democracy to be more successful in the US but it wouldn't even come close to fixing this awful country.

Ones gotta go first, I think the democrats are more likely.

It's all gotta go, but the two party system is definitely what enables the democrats to do their worst damage. Without everything focused around two parties, there would be less opportunity for the democrats to capture and kill any popular social movement that arises, since they would not be the default space for all left pressure to go to die.
