What does he even gain by still being alive at this point? At 99 I can't imagine life is enjoyable. Maybe just sticking around to join the 100 club then kick the bucket?
Seriously I don’t get it. My grandpa kicked it at 87 and the last 3 years he was just a total mess who couldn’t even recognize me. I was relieved when we got the call that he had died.
Personally I’d be fine passing in my 70s, in a rocking chair watching the sun set instead of drolling on myself in a hospital bed.
