As much as I dislike debatebros, some things like bringing up "whataboutism" should just be read as "waahhh how dare you point out my hypocrisy"! That and accusing people of being bots is just such a copout in an argument and makes me instantly disrespect you more.

I don't know what comment he's responding to but I just see whataboutism as every counterargument after anyone tries to bring up some entity being hypocritical at that moment. And in cases like the US just getting done funding and spreading terror worldwide, for example, then calling for a war on terror - sorry but that hypocrisy becomes relevant to any conversation about US leading a war on terror from then on out!

In reality we all know how that will go: neither countries will actually investigate the other, US will try funding a separatist movement in Xinjiang or do whatever with the CIA, kids in cages will go in the memory hole.
