This is genuinely one of the most low-key narcissistic things I've ever seen. Yang got some attention in the primaries, so one could be forgiven for thinking that it wouldn't be out of place for him to speak at the convention, but apparently he and several others forgot that he has literally no standing in the Democratic Party. He is not, and has never been, an elected representative, appointee, judge, civil servant, party official, or even involved with one of the many Democrat-adjacent nonprofit organizations like CAP. He didn't even win any delegates. Why on earth would he be asked to speak?
It would be nice, now that he realizes that all of his sacrifices for the DNC were worthless, if some lefty podcast/talk show host could get him on to criticize the machine
