Serious question, has Vaush actually read any theory? Like has he claimed to have read stuff? I know the obvious answer is to say no, cause really everything I've seen of his is void of any real analysis and is typically either reactionary or some type of whataboutism or uses a bunch of assumptions for the future without much merit. A prime example is how he claimed "we" would push Biden left and so far, as expected by anyone has even the slightest clue who Biden was and is, knew this was never going to happen.
How does someone like that keep digging a hole and keep believing what they believe without being ashamed of themselves. I've said this before and will say it again, Vaush is a great example of how online shit isn't real life the vast majority of the time on top of him creating docile leftists who put too much faith in elecoralism. I don't think he is an op, because streamers really are like this, but he checks every box that an op would have. The way he tells his fans to believe so much in electoralism while simultaneously stifling critiques about how electoralism is only a small piece of the pie when we're talking about building socialism in America. I know he has acknowledged partially but I have absolutely no clue what he recommends his fans to do actually build socialism. It's like slacktivism but somehow even worse because of how culty his following is. Where will he be in 4 years when nothing he claimed Biden would do comes true and we now have a republican in office. Is he going to continue the just vote shit? cause lol
