Most vegans ate meat regularly - at one point. (Fewer were vegetarians their whole life beforehand.) All I know fall into one of these two categories, but those that have never eaten meat nor animal products like eggs and dairy do exist in the wild.

    Just a friendly reminder that...

Meat and dairy and eggs all do the same horrible things. They are the same industries. CW warning for sexual & other violence against animals . They have subjectivity too! If you need help and advice, just ask please.

<CW! Check this out for facts<<<>

    I’m not exxagerating.

dairy: farmers fist anuses of cows to hold their cervixes whilst artificially inseminating and violating them.

dairy: farmers violently kill calves at birth to cut costs. or farmers steal them from their mothers and raise them for three months for veal

eggs: blend male chicks alive in industrial blenders called macerators

and so so so so so so so so so much more

Odds are, unless someone's parents/guardians were committed vegetarians/vegans from their birth, that's probably gonna be very rare.

I always found meat disgusting to eat, since when I was a kid. I remember hating going to barbecues because it meant I'd have to eat it. I'd chew that disgusting blob then spit it, incapable of swallowing. It was a relief growing up and realizing I don't have to eat meat.

Dairy isn't still very exploitative, it's even more exploitative imo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcN7SGGoCNI

I never enjoyed meat when I was younger, my parents forced me to eat it though.

You could throw away the salad, potatoes and everything else but MEAT was fucking sacred(also expensive) and you WILL FUCKING NOT leave it on your plate.

I have "great" memories of sitting at the table rolling a bite of meat around in my mouth just waiting until I could leave.

I'd never eaten meat until was 24, when I was forced to by an autoimmune disorder diet I stopped 18 months later when we worked out how to make my diet vegan. So yes I have eaten meat but only briefly. However it does mean I'm more aware of the taste of things, so anti vegans

I don't think you can be vegan until you eat cum. It's a circle of life thing. Source: I'm vegan

I had a friend too who was vegan for like 30 years but he felt pressured when invited by his bosses to eat at a steak restaurant. Apparently all they serve is meat idk, but he had to prep himself for weeks with some digestive aid and slowly introduce meat into his diet.

meat fucking sucks there's all this inedible shit in there like bones and tendons. Also my parents couldn't cook meat to save their life (overcooked and disgusting everytime). Also I prefer food that can stay in the fridge for a little while before becoming outrageously deadly.

I can eat a burger, but not a steak. I can eat chicken nuggets, but not a drumstick. It all depends and in all honestly, cutting meat out of my diet wouldn't be that hard for me, since I barely eat it to begin with.
