My thought process is first frustrated, because I'm not getting the item when I thought I was. But then I can't stay mad, I remember I'm costing some company extra money with the free replacement.

Hasn’t happened to me. But I would be pissed if it was medicine or from a store that didn’t have enough capital to instantly replace products like Amazon. But if it’s from Amazon, I’ll just tell them it’s stolen and I get a replacement. Sometimes I even do it when it’s not stolen so they’ll send me a second one lenin-laugh

Shout-out to the person who stole like $300 worth of amazon packages the week I moved into my apartment. They returned everything unopened except my vacuum cleaner like 3 days later. With amazon replacing everything, I ended up with more shit than I would have had otherwise

Had that happen with a desktop blu-ray drive. I can only imagine they opened it and immediately thought “wtf am I supposed to do with this?”. Good on them for returning it I guess, but I already got a replacement so now I have a spare disc drive lying around.

If you don’t mind, what kind of stuff was it that made them just return it? I’d imagine they only do that with things completely useless to them like a disc drive.

it was random household items like a shower curtain & small kitchen stuff

they didn't open the packages so idk how they knew nothing was valuable

I click the "didn't arrive" button and get my treats and someone else also gets my treats at the cost of the company

Oh man if I woke up and was just a Ken doll down there I’d be pretty worked up.

Typically with more important stuff, I try to see if they can send it via USPS since it’d be riskier to steal from a mailbox. Also harsher penalties I think. I would not want family albums or shit like that on my front porch lol. But USPS prohibits shipping ammo, so sometimes there’s a stack of bullets on my front steps for like 8 hours while I’m away

I’ve been lucky to never have it happen in my years of bourgeois decadent treat deliveries.

People always complain about it but I’ve never experienced personally.
