I find that aviator-style glasses give the biggest field of vision. Big rectangular frames are already a good pick for that, but aviators are another step up, especially for the lower edge of your field of view. If you're really myopic, the size and weight of the glasses becomes a bit of a problem, they get very, very thick at the edges if we're talking upwards of 4 diopters or so, but that can be mitigated if you have a good optometrist and they know how to file down the edges by hand.
