Raised this point myself many times, thanks; as someone running their own DNS server and refusing (like cloudflare) to send the EDNS stuff an alternative service that works would be great.
More info on the issue here - basically, archive.is refuses to resolve if your DNS server refuses to provide them with your IP / location.
It's a tad more complicated because archive.is is actually integrated with hexbear; when you post an URL here, it proposes you to archive the link using archive.is automatically (it's one of the reason we see so many of these). So somes changes would also have to be made in the code ideally.
@DashEightMate@Kitty is there a way to make this happen? I'm not a big fan of some random guy having all our EDNS data. Way back has an API we could use.

We should get the mods to sticky a post about using Wayback instead of archive for links. I'm sick of that dude's shit.
