What is with these people and the need to reflexively defend every little fuckup?

Joe Biden will literally shit his pants on TV and liberals will jump to defend it by saying Trump would have shit his pants twice as stinky. That's a prediction. 🔮

I'm appalled to see the level of ageist body shaming the left has fallen to! I for one think it was brave of our president to raise awareness about fecal incontinence!

Trump would have defecated into a diaper like s little orange baby and made a total fool of himself!

So tripping up on stairs is nothing, but if it were a ramp it'd be a bigger deal? :bean-think:

And rambling about corn pop being a bad dude is somehow better than invisible airplanes?

To be fair invisible airplanes was pretty hilarious. Almost as hilarious as cornpop.

Invisible planes is good, but my favorite is his take on aircraft carrier catapults.

I said, “You don’t use steam anymore for catapult?” “No sir.” I said, “Ah, how is it working?” “Sir, not good. Not good. Doesn’t have the power. You know the steam is just brutal. You see that sucker going and steam’s going all over the place, there’s planes thrown in the air.”

It sounded bad to me. Digital. They have digital. What is digital? And it’s very complicated, you have to be Albert Einstein to figure it out. And I said—and now they want to buy more aircraft carriers. I said, “What system are you going to be—” “Sir, we’re staying with digital.” I said, “No you’re not. You going to goddamned steam, the digital costs hundreds of millions of dollars more money and it’s no good.”

Ramps good stair bad cause ableism.

ive always found ramps harder to walk up/down than stairs

yeah i know, boo hoo, poor physically fit young adult might trip on a ramp. and i guess it does probably make more sense to build ramps everywhere possible than to just build separate ramps and stairs everywhere. but god dammit, i like stairs :(

How are natural hills for you? I've genuinely never heard of someone having a harder time in an incline than stairs.

Just fine, actually. Never really tripped while hiking, for example.

So just ramps? Maybe there's a standard slope that just doesn't work with you for some reason? I'm just speculating cause it's the first I've heard of such a thing.

Yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe the slopes are too shallow. Like my brain's like "I am ascending / descending now, therefore my feet will do the thing they do on stairs" and then it doesnt work because it's not nearly as steep as stairs. idk

if that's the case, then just using ramps more would solve it i guess

    saluting an NK general

The general saluted first, Trump was absolutely right to return it. People don't get pissy when the president salutes a Marine PFC standing by the door of the white house. It's like getting mad that he shook hands with somebody.

        :this:

They know if Obama had done that chuds would have lost their minds like they did with the latte salute thing, and they would have to be defending it. They're mad at the unfairness, and they think that owning the evil witch with her own logic will make her melt.

It was obvious on Day 1 that they were going to take anything he did and turn it into a furious denunciation. Remember how they lied about him dumping the fish food into the koi pond? He was just following the lead of the Japanese prime minister, who had just done the same thing. "Trump tries to overfeed and kill rare fish" dominated the news cycle for 24 hours.

It makes it all the harder to call him out on his actual fuckups when the media is this dishonest. It's been my experience that the bigger "news" organizations tend to have the mindset that actual research is superfluous as they assume their reputation insulates them from challenge.

They would have to let Joe on TV for any of that to happen.

I honestly can't wait until he has to go overseas and our media can't cover up his state because the foreign media doesn't give a shit about making him look good.

They think it's a clever gotcha because Republicans care so much about projecting strength and dominance. They don't understand that they will be seen as pussies no matter what they do, and Trump will be seen as cool no matter what he does, because what matters to conservatives is who you are. It's the reason Trump was able to be against the Iraq War.

I don't really get what the big deal about saluting the general was. He was on a visit abroad and was being polite to his hosts. I thought democrats were suckers for politeness.

Kinda weird to salute generals of an adversarial military. I don't give a shit, but within the context of that kind of thing, it's weird.
