I don't get any kind of boners for any kind of dudes, but I posted this tweet that casts the Babylon Bee in a favorable light here in the_dunk_tank because casting the Babylon Bee in a favorable light deserves a dunking, regardless of who is doing it.
I hate to Godwin up this thread but it does remind me of that thing Liberals do when they're attacking Trump and they say shit like "at least Hitler liked dogs," or "at least Hitler cared about his country."
I mean the same can be said of people like Glenn Greenwald, Michael Tracey, and Jimmy Dore, and Taibbi definitely runs in those circles. Taibbi isn't outwardly bad but he's definitely more anti-liberal than he is pro-left. Not our enemy or anything but not really our friend either.
Yeah maybe he's gone weird lately and I guess he seems to have some bad takes, I haven't really followed him that much, but his criticisms of wall st around the GFC were really on-point in a way that was also very readable, and I have to give the guy credit for that
He's critical of Democrats, media, censorship, and unfettered capitalism. I'm not sure why people here have such a rage-boner against him.
