It's so frustrating. All he's done is use a bunch of words spread out over a ton of tv appearances to tell you you're on your own so fuck off. He's the public face of public health and he's lobbied against a lockdown. People are dying by the hundreds of thousands because he's out there doing the "believe in science" culture war bit to distract from any discussion of the pandemic response we actually need.
Just because he had a disagreement with Trump he's somehow a good guy. I try to tell people I care about that Fauci's just helping to fuck them over and they act like I'm insane. These people have been in mortal danger for over a year when this could've been resolved in weeks.
